Watermark Designs Introduces the Brooklyn Collection
New Bath Collection Sets the Standard for Industrial Chic Design
BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Watermark Designs, the leading manufacturer of decorative fixtures and bathroom accessories for more than 30 years, recently collaborated with Incorporated Architecture & Design to create its newest bath series, the Brooklyn Collection. Inspired by mid-century gate valves and garden hoses used throughout New York City, the Brooklyn Collection is yet another example of Watermark’s uncanny ability to manufacture industrial artifacts that emulate the artisanal borough from which they hail.
Resembling spokes connected to the axle of a Ferris wheel, Brooklyn’s handles radiate a distinct, historical style treasured by urban loyalists. Made from solid brass and available in 35 finishes, the Brooklyn Collection will be sold exclusively through premiere Watermark showrooms across North America. With lavatory sets, showerheads and a complete set of coordinating bath accessories, all products in the collection are AB-1953 compliant and can be manufactured with an aerator that reduces the water flow to 1.5 gpm for eco-conscious homeowners.
“Working with Incorporated Architecture & Design has enabled us to collaborate with one of the most respected design firms in the country, and the outcome was brilliant,” said Avi Abel, president of Watermark Designs. “Watermark recently underwent an intensive rebranding campaign in an effort to incorporate more of our company’s heritage into our approach,” continues Abel, “We’re especially proud of this collection as it is a unique reflection of Watermark’s Brooklyn roots, and a signifier of what’s ahead.”
As a true-manufacturer, Watermark Designs utilizes the skills of industry craftsmen and specialists to create collections that blend industrial chic, traditional and modern aesthetics together. Each customized faucet, shower system and bath accessory from Watermark Designs is created through a hands-on design and development approach where impeccable style is attained by clean aesthetics, industrial tones and elegant finishes that satisfy the most exquisite of tastes. Evoking the character of Watermark Designs, the collections highlight the vast range of the innovative brand; providing a taste of the freshest creations out of Brooklyn.
