Hastings Hires New Executive Sales Manager to Handle Eastern United States

Freeport, New York - Hastings Tile & Bath, the premier distributor and importer of luxury bath and tile products for the kitchen and bath industry announced today that they’ve hired Stephen LaMachia to manage both their sales division and their independent reps east of Minnesota.
Stephen LaMachia’s title is Executive Sales Manager, Eastern United States. Stephen’s main focus will be managing independent reps, hospitality specifications and overall showroom support. He will also work to deepen Hastings’ existing relationships, and build new ones within the A & D community.

“Stephen is a road warrior with years of experience in our industry”, says Jody Rosenberg, Director of Sales & Marketing at Hastings Tile & Bath. “His industry knowledge and relationship-building skills make him an important addition to our team as we strengthen our core and continue to grow.”

Stephen joins Hastings after working as the Eastern Regional Sales Manager for Sonia® America. He has been involved in the kitchen and bath industry for many years, beginning his career as a licensed plumber, which he feels gives him an intimate working knowledge of the products he sells.

Stephen LaMachia’s official start date is March 15, 2010. He resides in the Boston area but will be traveling extensively east of Minnesota to service the Hastings Reps and showrooms.
