Designer Faucet Manufacturer MGS Gives Back with Habitat for Humanity

MGS USA teams up with one of the nation’s leading non-profit organizations for a faucet-match program in South Florida.

BOCA RATON, FLORIDA – ‘Tis the season for giving, and MGS USA is doing just that. MGS USA, the North American division of the Italian-based faucet manufacturer specializing in unique stainless steel designs, has recently entered into a partnership with Habitat for Humanity of South Palm Beach County. For the next six months (and possibly beyond, based on the success of the program), for every MGS faucet sold, a kitchen faucet (builder-grade brand) will be donated to Habitat for Humanity of South Palm Beach County. Regional showrooms participating in the program will receive name recognition for each faucet they sell that generates a donation, and will receive a certificate of collaboration.

MGS USA’s decision to partner with Habitat for Humanity of South Palm Beach County was a simple one. “We want to give back and do something nice from our industry and our community,” explains Eric Goldman of MGS USA. It’s a cooperative that will benefit both the designer faucet manufacturer and the South Florida branch of the national charity. As Mike Campbell, executive director of Habitat for Humanity of South Palm Beach County, states, “We are honored that MGS Designs chose to work with our chapter, and we hope to create an awareness of the work we accomplish in the community.” Incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1991, Habitat for Humanity of South Palm Beach County supports the communities of Boynton Beach, Boca Raton, and Delray Beach, home of MGS USA.

Habitat for Humanity of South Palm Beach County is South Florida’s chapter of one of the nation’s largest non-profit organizations. Each partner family is required to invest 500 hours of their own time in the construction of Habitat homes with the majority of hours being invested in their own home. They must then pay back the actual cost of the home through a non-interest bearing mortgage, with monthly payments of principal, taxes, and insurance. This system has the effect of building self-esteem in the partner families, which benefits the individual family and the community as a whole. Visit www.habitatsouthpalmbeach.org.
